The FELCOM 15 is FURUNO's Inmarsat-C Mobile Earth Station. It provides a high quality two-way telex and data link between ships and other parties at sea or on land. All functions and services of the Inmarsat-C system are integrated into one compact unit.

		Consists of omni-directional antenna and compact below-decks unit including 10.4” color LCD display, processor and keyboard.
		Inmarsat-C functions including EGC (Safety NET/FleetNET), distress message handling, two-way digital store-and-forward messaging including polling, data reporting, E-mail, etc
		Distress alert initiated by the remote distress alert unit, with a distress-alert button incorporated in the display for emergency
		Distress messages easily edited, including own ship's position; PC-editing via Ethernet with dedicated software option.
		Data files and utility program floppy disks easily loaded via the front-loading disk drive in the display unit
		Compact units for space saving installation and easy maintenance

		OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES:
		GPS module available for position reporting without operator intervention.
